Storybook Farm empowers children impacted by adversity and to reclaim the wonder of childhood through relationships with animals and nature.

We love literature.
We love animals.

Befitting a fairytale, we named our idyllic, dynamic, experiential learning environment Storybook Farm. We love literature. We love animals. Our animals are named for literary characters and places throughout the 51-acres are named after fictional places in childhood stories.
Our horses live in the Papa Bear Horse Center, constructed by two amazing partners. The Peyton Anderson Foundation and Stone Martin Builders contributed the means, the brain, and the brawn to build this incredible venue.

Animals have an organic and beautiful way of improving the quality of life. Schedule a private behind-the-scenes tour and spend a little time with them. Step into our fairytale.
