Interns

Learn, grow, and smile with SBF!

As a 501(c)(3) faith-based, non-profit, you will gain real life experience in a fast paced environment surrounded by cuddly animals and loving children.

Our interns become an integral part of the Storybook Farm family. We are always looking for talented and ambitious people to join our team. An attitude of service and a willingness to grow makes you the perfect candidate for a Storybook Farm Internship.

Opportunities

Get involved in learning the “ins” and “outs” of running a non-profit business while working with children facing life challenges on and off horseback. Interns at SBF perform a wide variety of tasks including marketing and fundraising, social media correspondence, administrative tasks, and of course day-to-day animal care for our 36 furry friends!

Qualifications

SBF encourages you to be your best and brightest! A friendly, outgoing, and high-energy personality is the key to success at our farm. Internship candidates must be diligent self-starters and be able to work both independently and as a team to further our mission. Proficiency in grammar and Microsoft Office products is required. No previous equestrian experience required.

When?

SBF offers internship and practicum opportunities in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. For 16 weeks, you will work closely with our staff to further our mission of providing “Hope On Horseback.” Each semester presents new challenges at Storybook Farm, and your gifts and talents bring innovative ideas to our ministry.

How do I apply?

Fill out the form below and provide your resume and cover letter. Please let us know a little about yourself. Some topics you could write about are your background, major, past equestrian or special needs experience (not required), or anything you would like us to know about you! We hope you will join our Storybook Family!
