Assist with Spring Sessions

General Information

The Spring 2018 Session is 10 weeks in duration beginning the week of January 29th and ending the week of April 9th. No activities will take place from March 12 – 16 Auburn University’s Spring Break.

The first two weeks will consist of volunteer training. Super excited kids of all shapes and sizes will participate the remaining 8 weeks.

Children and their families join us once a week to participate in a group with a maximum of 6 children. We ask our volunteers to commit to at least once a week.

Weekly Riding Sessions:

Mondays: 2:00 – 6:30 pm
Tuesdays: 2:00 – 6:30 pm
Wednesdays: 2:00 – 6:30 pm
Thursdays: 2:00 – 6:30 pm
Fridays: 2:00 – 6:30 pm

Please make note on your volunteer form which day you would like to volunteer.
Thank you for making this commitment to our kids!

Spring Session Volunteer Positions

Please note which volunteer position is your preferred option. Note that there is limited space available and the spots fill up quickly!

  • Riding Activities: Accompany our riders in Paddington Station Arena as they experience the fulfillment of horseback riding.
  • Horticultural Education: Cultivate smiles with our riders in The Secret Garden as they learn about nutrition, gardening, and tending the soul.
  • Small Animal Companionship: Furry friends and small children go together like peas and carrots.
  • Photography, Arts & Crafts: Enjoy building close relationships with our participants through beautifully hand-made designs.
